SpaceMan Home & Office on ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"
SpaceMan Home & Office was featured in the February 19, 2006 episode of the Emmy-nominated ABC reality show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The show selected SpaceMan to install custom closet systems within the new home of the Kubena family from East Bernard, Texas. The family was chosen after the show’s producers learned about their twin 7-year old daughters who are both battling leukemia. With rising medical bills and the rigors of traveling back and forth to the Texas Medical Center, the family of six moved into a 2 bedroom trailer with limited space and an inadequate ventilation system preventing one of the twins from returning home after receiving a bone marrow transplant. SpaceMan donated seven closet systems and a pantry in addition to the labor required to manufacture and install the systems.
